Malcolm has been flying aerobatics since 2001, and is the current United States Advanced Champion. He has competed at the advanced level for 4 years, served as a national judge for the IAC, and has contributed articles to Sport Aerobatics. He belongs to Chapters 36, 49, 26 and 38.

Malcolm holds a commercial certificate with instrument rating, and has been flying an Edge 540 since 2004. Before gravitating to the sport of aerobatics, he flew gliders and motor gliders.

He is the founding partner of a cardiology group in Southern California and practices adult cardiology. Malcolm is an avid mountain biker, and also enjoys skiing and his Golden Retrievers.

He wishes to thank his wife, friends, fellow pilots, and coaches who have helped him reach this point in his aerobatic career. Malcolm is honored to be a member of the United States AWAC team for 2010.
